The Germetex®ACOUSTICS series of materials is a highly filled (heavy), self-adhesive, moisture-resistant, heat-resistant soundproof membrane for walls, partitions, floor and ceiling.
The value of the offer: high sound insulation characteristics of RwEN 140-3; adaptation of products to the customer’s specifications (physico-chemical, technological, dimensional parameters); safety and environmental friendliness.
It is used in all building frame and frameless structures and sound insulation systems (as an interlayer), where GCL, GVL, SML, OSB, plywood and other materials to improve sound insulation characteristics.
Reduces noise and vibration, improves sound insulation. Maximum efficiency without loss of usable space.
It has a high degree of elasticity. It is made on the basis of a natural mineral, it is an environmentally friendly material. For use in rooms of various purposes.
Application
- Plasterboard interior partitions
- Erected frame and frameless wall structures (false walls)
- Sound insulation of the floor under the screed, sound insulation of a clean floor
- Sound insulation of ceiling systems
- Metal structures (corrugated board, roof)
- Damping of elements of metal structures (profile guides, channels, direct suspensions)
- Sound insulation of industrial and industrial premises (cabins, workshops, metal hangars), ventilation systems
- Sound insulation of metal doors
- For professional acoustic equipment
- X-ray diagnostic rooms, laboratories, pharmaceutical departments
Features and benefits
- Ultra-thin material
- Safety and environmental friendliness (absence of bitumen components, halogens)
- For rooms where X-ray diagnostic equipment is planned or used
- Protection from exposure to gamma radiation
- Convenience and ease of installation on any surface
- Suitable for finishing materials and sand-cement mixtures
- Saving the useful area of the room
- High resistance to adverse weather conditions and atmospheric influences
- High barrier properties (low gas permeability, moisture resistance)
- High resistance to acids, alkalis, salt solutions
- High air noise isolation index (Rw = 30-36 dB)
- Effective at all sound frequency ranges (including low frequencies)
- High density and the highest mass of all analogues (with a thickness of 2 mm: 5 kg/m2)
- Optimal dimensions (corresponds to the width of sheets of GCL, GVL, etc., which helps avoid additional cutting and unnecessary waste of material)
- Adaptation of products to the customer’s specifications (physical and chemical parameters, technological, dimensional)
Compound
- Natural mineral Barite (environmentally friendly material; protects humans from ionizing radiation)
- Polyisobutylene PIB (provides the material with high density and mass)
- Plasticizers (polymers that provide elastic properties to the material)
